Train

To travel from Naples Airport to Sorrento by train, first take a taxi or airport shuttle to Napoli Centrale train station (the main station in Naples). At Napoli Centrale, follow the signs for the Circumvesuviana regional train line. The standard Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento departs regularly and takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Tickets cost around 5€ per person. Please note that seats are not guaranteed and trains may not have air conditioning. Tickets for the standard train cannot be purchased in advance and must be bought at the station ticket office. Alternatively, you may take the Campania Express, a more comfortable option that also uses the Circumvesuviana line but features reserved seating and dedicated times. Once you arrive at Sorrento station, it is about a 10-minute walk to the apartments.
Bus

Curreri Viaggi runs direct buses from Naples Airport to Sorrento every 1–2 hours, depending on the season and time. The trip takes 90–120 minutes. Tickets cost €13 and can be bought online. It is recommended to book your tickets in advance to ensure a seat. Subject to availability it is also possible to pay in cash on the bus. Ferry
Ferries operate between Naples and Sorrento with several companies providing this route. To reach the ferry terminal from Naples Airport, take a taxi or use the airport shuttle; shuttle details are available at https://www.anm.it/s/alibus?language=en_US. Ferry schedules depend on weather conditions, and services may be suspended during rough seas or bad weather. ErKaNi Dimora, the port is located on the opposite side of Sorrento, requiring a long walk to the apartment. For this reason, the ferry is not recommended for guests staying at ErKaNi Dimora.
Car Rental & Parking

While it is possible to reach Sorrento with a rental car, this option is generally not recommended. Roads in the area are often very busy, traffic can be heavy, and parking in the town center is limited and expensive. The apartments are centrally located and easily accessible on foot or by public transportation, making a car unnecessary for most guests.

From Rome
​
Travelling from Rome to Sorrento is easiest by taking a high‑speed train to Naples with either Frecciarossa (Trenitalia) or Italo. Both offer fast, comfortable services with a journey time of around 1 hour 15 minutes.

When searching, select “Roma Termini” → “Napoli Centrale.” For the high‑speed trains, look for a journey time under 1 hour 15 minutes to ensure you’re choosing the correct service and not an Intercity. Intercity trains are cheaper and perfectly fine, but they take longer and are less comfortable.

Seats are assigned on all trains, and tickets must be purchased before boarding. Prices increase as the travel date approaches, so it’s best to book as early as possible. High‑speed trains usually run on time, but as with rail services worldwide, occasional delays can happen.

Once you arrive in Naples, please note that although most of the distance has already been covered, the final stretch from Naples to Sorrento takes longer. You can continue by local train or book a private transfer
